Ask your legislator to Vote YES on H.B. 511 & S.B. 201 (Update: Passed)
Magazine subscriptions come in the mail, prescriptions should not! By supporting H.B. 511 and S.B. 201, you can choose where you get your prescriptions. Tell your legislator you want a choice of where to get your prescription. To find out who your legislator is, simply visit www.legis.state.pa.us and click on Find Your Legislator.

On Tuesday October 2, 2012 SB 201 "Access To Community Pharmacy Services" passed the Senate without amendments, but it is not finished yet.
The House Members will return to Harrisburg for the final voting session on Monday, October 15 and may offer an amendment, begin today to contact your Representative now and ask for their support of SB201/PN2384 without amendments.

This important legislation (SB 201 - Access to Community Pharmacy Services) protecting Pennsylvanians right to choose local pharmacies was passed and signed in senate, Oct. 17, 2012 by a unanimous vote. Thank your state legislators for their support.

This legislation takes effect 120 days after being passed and applies to health insurance policies issued or renewed on or after its effective date. So if you insurance renewed in January 2013 this legislation does not apply; next year it will.
