Position: Retail Sales Clerk/Merchandiser
Hours: Full Time or Part Time

Reports to: Store Manager

Job Description: Retail clerks are responsible for all register transactions, lottery transactions (where applicable), other service counter transactions, coffee bar maintenance (where applicable), pharmacy register transactions and customer service. Clerks are also responsible for other duties as assigned by the pharmacist, merchandising department, or other members of management.  On occasion, it may be necessary for any retail employee to work in a location other than their home location.

Merchandisers are responsible for out front merchandise, placing product orders and seasonal sets.  Merchandisers are also responsible for monthly planograms and keeping the product neat and organized.

Eligibility Requirements: Should be able to handle all register and lottery transactions accurately. Must be flexible and able to work efficiently during busy periods. Must be friendly and able to quickly meet customer needs. Prior POS, retail or customer service experience a plus. Qualified candidate should be able to work in all locations of the store (front end registers, lottery, and pharmacy). On occasion it may be neccessary for a retail clerk to work in a location other than their home store. Excellet communication skills (particulary on the phone) are essential.
