Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

Hours: Full-Time

Location: Floating Between All Locations

Reports to: Lead Technician / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

Job Description:

Pharmacy technicians are responsible for data entry of patient information, updating patient information, checking in the pharmacy order, and maintaining inventory in the pharmacy computer as well as assisting the pharmacist with running prescriptions and checking out customers in the pharmacy area.

Technicians are also responsible for dealing with insurance companies over the phone as well as for any other duties assigned by the pharmacist on duty.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Able to handle all cash register transactions accurately
  • Flexible and able to work efficiently
  • Friendly and able to quickly meet customer needs
  • Excellent customer service (on the phone and in person)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Prior experience dealing with insurance companies is a plus
  • Klingensmith’s certification must be completed within 6 months of hire and PTCB certification must be completed within 12 months of hire

Sales Clerk / Fill Tech

Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time

Ford City – Part-Time

Reports to: Store Manager

Job Description:

–SALES CLERK:
As a retail Sales Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while handling register transactions, lottery transactions, and other service counter duties. You’ll also have the opportunity to help maintain our coffee bar and pharmacy register, ensuring that every customer’s experience is a positive one.

–FILL TECH:
If this location is not a retail store, you will primarily work in the pharmacy with duties that include, but are not limited to, assisting with the filling of prescriptions ie. Rx packaging.

–IMPORTANT:
On occasion, it may be necessary for any retail employee to work in a location other than their home location.

  • Accurately handle all register and lottery transactions
  • Flexibility to work efficiently during busy periods
  • Friendly and able to quickly meet customer needs
  • Prior POS, retail, or customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to work in all locations of the store (front-end registers, lottery, and pharmacy)
  • Occasional requirement to work in a location other than the home store
  • Excellent communication skills (particularly on the phone) are essential
